Product availability and pricing are subject to change without notice. Items in your shopping cart are not reserved or guaranteed until checkout is completed.
We make all reasonable efforts to ensure site uptime and accessibility. However, we are not responsible for temporary interruptions due to maintenance, website changes, or technical issues beyond our control.
Ordering Products
To purchase products, you must set up an account. This allows us to process and track your orders accurately. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Providing accurate information is your responsibility. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information for your account and when placing orders. We reserve the right to cancel orders or terminate accounts if we believe the provided information is inaccurate or fraudulent.
You may only create one account per person. Each account holder may only place orders for themselves, not on behalf of third parties. We prohibit creating multiple accounts to circumvent policies or gain unauthorized benefits.
Check your order carefully before completing checkout. You are responsible for ensuring the items, quantities, shipping details, and other order information is correct. Enso® Knives is not liable for any errors made during the ordering process.
All stated prices and available methods of delivery apply to U.S. orders only. For international shipping, please contact us directly for a quote.
Do not submit an order unless you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Completing checkout is considered acceptance of our policies. Order confirmations do not signify our acceptance of an order. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer for any reason.
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method supplied. By submitting an order, you promise that all details provided are correct and you will not make any unauthorized charges or attempt to reverse legitimate transactions.
If paying by card, you authorize us to charge your card upon checkout. If the payment fails or is later invalidated, we may suspend your account and attempt to collect any dues owed. Any outstanding balances must be paid immediately.
PayPal handles its own payment processing. We cannot guarantee the timing or success of PayPal transactions. Issues must be addressed directly with PayPal’s customer service.
All stated prices are in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any conversion or foreign transaction fees from your payment provider.
We do not store full credit card details after checkout. Your payment information is securely transmitted and then purged from our systems in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
Product Pricing & Promotions
Prices shown are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax will be added during checkout for orders shipping to Tennessee addresses. For orders to other states, tax may be collected if we establish a sufficient business presence per state regulations.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. If the price changes before your order ships, we will notify you and request confirmation of the new total. Price adjustments will not apply retroactively to completed orders.
Any coupons, discounts, or promotion codes must be entered at checkout to apply. Promotions are mutually exclusive and may not combine with other offers unless stated otherwise.
Typographic errors do not obligate fulfillment. If a product’s price is obviously misstated, we hold the right to cancel orders placed for that item.
Shipping & Delivery
We provide free standard shipping within the contiguous U.S. on all orders over $75. For orders under $75, standard shipping is $5.
Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for an additional cost:
- 3-5 Day Shipping: $15
- 2 Day Shipping: $20
- Next Day Shipping: $35
Shipping costs are based on order total, not item count. Multiple items in one order over $75 qualify for free shipping.
We only deliver to valid addresses within the United States. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes, military APO/FPO addresses, or outside the U.S.
You will receive tracking information when your order ships. Expected delivery dates are estimates only; we are not liable for shipping delays due to carrier issues or other unforeseen circumstances.
We must receive accurate shipping information with your order. If packages are returned or fail to deliver due to incorrect details, you may be charged additional shipping fees to resend.
You own your products once shipped. Ownership and risk of loss transfers to you when we provide the order to the carrier. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages after handoff to the shipping service.
Inspect deliveries promptly upon arrival. Please notify us within 3 business days of any shipping damages or order inaccuracies so we may coordinate resolutions with the carrier and make appropriate corrections.
Returns & Refunds
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we accept unused returns within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to the original payment method. Items must be returned in original condition with tags still attached.
Contact our Customer Service team to receive a prepaid return label. We are unable to process returns without a valid RMA number, so please do not send anything back without contacting us first.
Once your return is received and verified, we will issue a credit within 2-3 business days. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to fully process with your financial institution.
We do not refund the original outgoing shipping costs on returns. You are responsible for paying return shipping, unless the reason for return is our error (damaged, defective, incorrect item shipped, etc.).
Exchanges are handled as a return and reorder. We do not offer free exchange shipping.
Some products are non-returnable, such as engraved or personalized items. Please check individual product pages for return eligibility before ordering.
Sale items must be returned within 14 days. Clearance, closeout, or other discount merchandise has a reduced return window.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If you used a debit or credit card, the money will be credited back to that same account. Return the items using our prepaid label and we’ll take care of the rest!
Product Care & Use
Enso® knives are crafted from quality Japanese steel through traditional honing and sharpening techniques. Like any fine cutlery, proper care is required to keep them performing at their peak.
Hand wash and dry knives immediately after use. Never put knives in the dishwasher, as harsh detergents and hot water will damage the blades.
Avoid cutting directly on hard surfaces. Use a cutting board to protect the edges. Impact with metal, stone, glass, etc. will chip and pit the blades.
Do not overload knife blocks. Placing too many knives or applying excessive force may bend or warp slots. Store knives properly when not in use.
Hone frequently; sharpen only when needed. Use an honing steel to realign the edge after several uses. Sharpen with whetstones or professional services when honing is no longer sufficient.
Oil and wipe after washing. Keep wood knife handles sealed by regularly applying food-safe mineral oil. Clean and dry blades fully to prevent corrosion.
Proper knife skills are also imperative. Never slide or scrape blades sideways on cutting boards. Allow the knife’s weight to do the work with gentle up-and-down motions.

Warranty & Defects
We warranty our products to be free of defects in materials and craftsmanship for normal use and care. All Enso® knives come with a limited lifetime warranty from the date of original purchase. If any damage or defects are found, we will evaluate the damage and sole remedy options per below:
- Cosmetic defects will be repaired or the item replaced.
- Functional defects will be repaired or the item replaced. Replacement is limited to the same item or one of equal value. Refunds over $500 require returning the item.
- For sets, only the defective piece may be replaced, not the entire set, unless otherwise specified.
This warranty covers defects arising from the manufacturing process, not user damage from improper use or negligence. Misuse such as placing in dishwasher, cutting on glass or metal, using sharpeners incorrectly, or chipping from impact are not covered.
Contact Customer Service regarding any defects and to begin the warranty process. Provide order details such as purchase date and invoice number. Be prepared to mail in the defective product for further evaluation and remain in contact until the issue is resolved.
Proof of purchase is required for warranty service. Digital receipts are sufficient. Photocopies or missing information can complicate matters.
Repairs or replacements under warranty do not extend the period of coverage. The original expiry remains in effect.
Warranty applies to original purchaser only. It is non-transferrable if items are gifted or resold.
Packages marked as a gift are also covered by this warranty policy. The gifting customer should initiate service requests.
Our warranty provides additional protections on top of rights provided by law. You are not required to agree to our terms to retain protections given automatically by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and your state’s statutes governing warranties. Customers may pursue legal remedies without first participating in our warranty process.
